The Zonta Club of
Longview Annual Antiques Show and Sale is now in its 31st year.
This is the Club's only fundraiser. The show is directed
by Bobby and Zella Tucker, and offers a broad spectrum of
antiques and collectibles offered by approximately 65 antique
dealers.
The event is held at
the Maude Cobb Activity Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of
the first full weekend of March. The show also provides a
Tea Room with a varied menu of luncheon items, as well as our
famous Pie Bar for dessert.

The Woman of
Achievement Award was designed to honor a woman in Longview for
outstanding achievem
ent in business or for recognition for her
outstanding contributions to the community. The luncheon
is held in May each year. Nominees may be any woman in the
community, and is not limited to members of Zonta.

The Zonta Club of
Longview sponsors and participated in an event held during March
of each year, commemorating Women's History Month, called
Women
in Longview Day.
The half-day
event includes a continental breakfast, exhibits by business and
non-profit agencies advocating products and services for women,
break-out seminars involving topics of great interest to women ,
a keynote speaker and buffet luncheon. The date for the
event for 2005 is March 17, and is held at the Maude Cobb
Activity Center. |
